The LGRRG Academy primary school is being developed to serve the unique developmental needs of young girls in Nigeria. With emphasis on STEAM Education, Athletics, and a Social & Emotional Learning global-based curriculum, we hope to build foundational skills for future leaders of Nigeria. An underlying component of our mission is that our commitment to our students and families stretches from Pre-Primary to Primary 6. The LGRRG Academy focuses on high expectations, character development, teacher, and school leader development. To support our high expectations, we invest a great deal in ensuring that our teachers deliver high-quality, rigorous curriculum and instruction.

Education is not freely available to everyone - and in many parts of the world, girls are the first to be excluded from it. Girls are the first to drop out of school, and the first to be failed by the system, facing the perils of early marriage, early pregnancy, and abuse. Without the choice to write their own futures, their endless potential is wasted. More than 18M girls are out of primary education in Sub-Saharan Africa and only 68.9% of Nigerian girls complete their primary education. LGRRG Academy will work to address that.
